Job responsibilities will include working with the Medical Informatics group at AMPATH to design, develop, and modify java-based applications. A major responsibility will be to design and create PDA-based java programs, and to develop applications on top of OpenMRS (www.openmrs.org) software. Individual will be responsible for installing software applications and operating systems under predetermined guidelines, as well as monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting existing application systems. This individual will also play a leadership role in building a core team of java programmers at AMPATH.
